What is the recommended Alpha Eagle ear cup upgrade? Is there anything similar to Bose A20?
Also, any recommendations for CEPs or similar alternatives would be appreciated.
Cheers in advanced

Can’t comment for the alpha eagle. But for my alpha 400 I got the Oregon aero ear cups that Red Baron ALSE sell. They come in 2 sizes 1/2” and 3/4”, the 1/2” are the ones I use. They are stickon so you reuse the plastic earcup cover bit that clips into the earcup.
You can get them here : https://www.redbaronalse.com.au/product ... ls-zero-g/
I’ve used the CEP system, had issues with the foam tips getting stuck in my ear canal and the small wires breaking.
Have since changed to the HELO Chais system. Uses the same CEP socket (Red Baron stock the CEP socket) and instead of wires it uses acoustic tubes which are a lot sturdier. Most expensive bit of this system is the custom earplugs to mount too it, but 10/10 would recommend the HELO Chais system to anyone wanting to go the CEP route.

Call Steve at Gentex Australia. He was Aero Parts Australia and was acquired by Gentex so now you’re dealing with the manufacturer https://defencesa.com/news-events-and-m ... workforce/
He’s currently at Rotortech fitting helmets to muppets like me but I’m sure the office will sort you: 08 8258 4388
BTW: Lightspeed are officially certified on Gentex product, Bose isn’t which I was surprised to learn as an A20 user. I believe Steve can organise either replacement ear ups with or without various factory options- or a Lightspeed transplant.
