G'day All
I'm aware that if doing all 7ATPL's Youll need to complete them within 2 years or so, or else you have to start again.
However, in the case of someone converting an ICAO ATPL accepted by CASA, I beieve you only need to do Air Law? In this case, would the ATPL Air Law exam have an expiry date?
Thanks

At the moment there is no logical or easy method of obtaining your ATPL (H) flight test.

Thanks OEI for the exam name.
Yankee, good point and I've heard about the ATPL Flight test under the new rules and the issues surrounding it. I'm hoping by the time I'm ready someone will have figured something out

There is a Brisbane based FE who can conduct the helicopter ATPL(H) flight test. The MCC requirement is a bit of an issue at the moment.

Do any of the ATPL exams expire after successfully completing them? Do you have 3 years to complete them all?

If you commenced an exam either CPl or Atpl before part 61 introduction its 3 years. After part 61 introduction it’s 2 years.

They are all subject to expiry. You must complete them all (all 7) within the timeframe set by CASA (I thought it was 2 years now, but could be 3).
So if you have 1 left at the end of the expiry period, you have to sit them all again. So if you plan on sitting your ATPL, it is best to get stuck in and knock them over as quickly as possible.
Once you have passed them all in the timeframe, it is a perpetual exam credit so no need to re do the theory (thankfully!)

2 year window for all 7 ATPL subjects, however it is a rolling window on the exam credits. If one expires they do not all expire, just the one which is over 2 years old.
