IREX required documents?

Hey all, just wondering if anyone who has done IREX exam could shed some light on the required materials. Currently unemployed and thinking of doing it but I would rather not spend $1000 to get all the materials CASA says are permitted if some/any of them are actually useless or not 100% required to get though it. Also just any general advice on the exam.

It wasn’t the case in several other exams but there wasn’t anything on my desk in the IREX that I didn’t use. Admittedly I probably only used one of the TACs and one of the ERC Lows, but there were questions from them.

Most of the questions were from the DAPs and AIP so good tabbing/highlighting in the AIP is important. Mostly though, my advice is to use Bob Tait’s book as there were plenty of questions taken straight from it.
