Hi Aaron,

You haven't said where you are...but BK Helis can do this for you in Sydney.

Cheers,

Also try Anthony Crestani the CFI at Nautilus, you'll get a great endorsement and he's very knowledgable on the machine. Id also ask for a copy of the RFM prior to your endorsement so you can do some pre study. Enjoy :)

Depends on the school and model of Squirrel. Do you have a particular model in mind that you'll be flying, hoping to fly?, there are so many variants these days, but most likely you'll be flying a factory B2/B3 or the re engined LTS -600 SD1(BA equiv) or the LTS-700(B2) equiv.

Anything other than a factory machine could have a myriad of options and avionics thats why its not always one endorsement fits all, the flying yes but you may need to do a differences course or at leat study any other squirrel you fly especially the B3 variants with Fadec and dual Hyd options.

To answer you question aaron, id budget anywhere from $1700-2300 per hour. Then again depends on how desperate the schools are for your business.

Try and do it in a B3 or the very least a B2 with the vemd screens and fli. The old BA's and steam driven B2's are now dinosaurs and mostly being replaced. May as well get familiar with all the fadec modes etc.
