Interesting discussion in that aside from the emotional side of accidents, could this be setting a precedent for future claims on companies and manufacturers?.

Sometimes we just take it for granted that we are all covered by TPL clauses however in the event that claims exceed the covered values then companies / manufacturers could be liable if proven.
