2 x LAME Positions - Helicopter - Snowy Aero Engineering

Snowy Aero Engineering is seeking two Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAMEs) for immediate start (or as soon as practical).

Snowy Aero Engineering (SAE) is a sister company to Heli Surveys and is responsible for maintaining its fleet of AS350 helicopters, and occasionally cross-hired machines. The aircraft are all utility helicopters that operate Australia-wide, with the main office based in Jindabyne. As such, the role requires travel, flexibility, and long hours when necessary. This flexibility works both ways, and staff who enjoy the outdoors (skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, etc.) are encouraged to take time off when possible, including during quieter periods/days (in addition to rostered time off). This is a unique opportunity for the right person.

Both positions offer as much responsibility as the candidate wants to take on, with the senior role expected to work closely with the Chief Engineer and effectively take on this role for short periods when required.

SAE offers a competitive salary package based on the candidate's ability and experience. Accommodation and travel will be provided for touring engineers or fixed-base engineers when travelling away. The ideal candidate(s) will be based full-time in Jindabyne, NSW, with travel to Albury required for heavy maintenance. SAE is open to the idea of a touring position for the right person and encourages those who are not looking to move to Jindabyne/Albury to still apply.
