Pilot Required- Yukon Territory, Canada

Horizon Helicopters is currently seeking applications for licensed helicopter pilots for seasonal summer contract positions. We operate AS350, EC120, and Super Puma types of Helicopter.

We are based in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada with the majority of our machines being based in remote mineral exploration camps during the summer months.
Applicants must have a minimum of 2000 hrs PIC , AS350 experience, mountain flying experience and proficiency in precision longlining (drill moves). They must also possess a Canadian commercial pilots licence CPL (H), with EC120 and Super Puma experience an asset.

Due to minimum hour requirements from our clients, and the type of work we do if you don't have the minimum requirements please do not apply.

If the minimums are met, is Horizon willing to sponsor foreign pilots?

Well seeing they aren’t advertising on any Canadian forums I think they are exclusively looking to sponsor non Canadians.

The advertisement is also two months old, making one think the position has been filled and no longer requires advertising. :wink:

No it’s not advertising for an LMIA they just can’t get pilots and were looking for guys from Aus/NZ with the right to work in Canada. PR, WHV etc.
