National 'Slapper drinks - Friday 7th October 2022

Ladies and gents,

After what has been an extremely challenging 18 months for our industry and the broader community, it is time that we all got together for a catch up over a few beverages.

The intent behind the idea is to mainly have a few laughs over a few cold ones with the hidden agenda of having a chat, staying connected and lending support as and if its needed. Previous drinks have also served as a great way to network for all and sundry.

We will float a week sometime soon for January 2022. Perhaps some of our industry colleagues from respective states and territories can suggest a venue for the catch up and maybe look to take a few photos and post them for all to see on this thread.

Better late than never....

Ladies/Gents,

After a long hiatus due mainly to COVID, its time to plan for national 'Slapper drinks. Each state/territory can start their own thread and coordinate a venue and time for various locations.

The last couple get togethers have been enjoyable and proved to be not only a great night out but also an excellent chance for all and sundry to share ideas, experiences and also network with a variety of attendees from newbie pilots to rescue crewies to charter pilots, EMS and offshore etc.

We've also lost a few industry colleagues these past couple years and it'd be good to crack a few beers in their honour.

I'll start a thread for NSW drinks. And yes Twisty, I'll find a pub that also serves ice cream.
