The FTA SEHCIR was actually closer to 60K last year and is now no longer available.
The 206B3 that they were using, is no longer allowed to be used for that.

I may be wrong as this is information from last year.
A simple phone call to FTA for anyone interested should confirm the above information. Happy to be corrected if something has changed. :)

You’re probably right, the 40k was when I used to instruct there many moons ago when there IFR course first kicked off. We did so many instrument ratings in the 355 and also the Jetty and I’m pretty sure all of them are working offshore now. It’s definitely worth doing even at 60k if that’s the direction you want to go.

What's the going rate for an offshore pilot these days?
Utility guys making 250k+ these days, I'm trying to work out if it's worth the investment for a job with a bit more stability.

Just search the Australian fair work website for the EBAs pay structures are at the back normally.

But line captains are about 230k and senior captains are about 250k base with travel allowances additional. Working a Touring roster more if you live onsite with some companies. Working a 15/13 or 3/3 shift.
