Ron Newman Aerody Book - WANT TO BUY

Hi all,

I'm wanting to purchase the Ron Newman book 'The Technical, Aerodynamic & Performance Aspects of a Helicopter' - paperback.

I can only find the ebook online..

If anyone knows where I can get a new paperback, that would be great.

Happy to purchase a second hand one too.

If all you need to do is pass a CASA exam though, AFT and Bob Tait’s material will do the job.

For the record, Bob Tait only produces theory texts for fixed wing.

He produces good material for the 3 common CPL exams (nav, met and human factors). 2 others are similar subjects (law and AGK) will get you through with Bob Tait, but aerodynamics and ops are very different.

Aerodynamics for helicopters is very different to FW, so don’t get the Bob Tait book for that.

Get a book 'Principles of Helicopter flight" W.J Wagtendok for CPL-H aero. Pretty good.
