Geez that Bristows checklist is a weird one.

Somebody must have had a big stuff-up with the throttle not being fully open, because the yellow-page checks have got it in there 5 times, checking in the cruise, before approach, before landing.
On shutdown they leave the boost pumps on until well after shutdown - I have always turned them off at idle, to check the operation of the engine-driven pump.

On the white page lists:
Item #6, they don't run the throttle full and free - should go to fully open, back to the idle stop, then shut off.
Item #10, they don't say to raise the collective to check for the "beep".
#14, all overhead CBs IN
#15, oops, pull the boost pumps out. Why?
#24, why start with HYD OFF?
#34, Fuel valve ON - should be on earlier to allow checks of the boost pumps.
START Chex
#5 Boost pumps ON - but no check of pressure? This is the time to check the pressure from the electric pumps and that the caution light activates when their CB is pulled. Why not start with them on?
#6 Fuel valve ON - goose, you already turned it on at #34 10 seconds ago.

Strange.
