Rotorcraft MCC Course

Postby Canuck604 » Sat Apr 19 2025, 02:39

I am reading that a MCC course is required for an ATPL. A quick google search turns up a lot of options for fixed wing operators, but I cannot find any Rotorcraft MCC courses on offer in Australia. Can anyone confirm or deny that the MCC course is indeed required for a Rotorcraft ATPL and if so how are people completing this step if there are no courses?

According to the CASA website (and part 61), MCC training is a prerequisite to obtaining the ATPL-H. My company sent me to do it at Rotorlift in Tasmania once I was hired in 2022. It’s not listed as an option for training on their website but worth a phone call. Good luck.
