Unfortunate damage to numerous aircraft at Archerfield, including to an EMS twin. Some light aircraft were tossed 200m in the air at the height of ther storm:

Our heavy maintenance engineers had just finished a major overhaul of that 412 and took it for a post maintenance proving flight. They just managed to land before the storm hit. One of our engineers got some great footage of the storm while they were all waiting it out on the tarmac from inside the 412. Tailrotor and tail boom are both badly beaten up. Also the hangar took a bad beating as did tooling etc inside the hangar.
