We have all landed in some pretty interesting or amazing places in our time. It is where a helicopter can go that makes the helicopter unique.

Here are a few of the places I have been able to set down at and take a few pics, both here and abroad. Hopefully others will share a few pics too.

Nice pics FF, love the tree stump! That one with the JR is not the top end of Flinders Island by any chance? ah no it's not I just noticed Cape York Heli's painted on it! Good I'm not that blind then!!

FF and Ned have really set a high benchmark.

That's some tight parking by the HeliExpress Squirrel in Canada (Heli-Ops pic). I didn't know you could "touch park" a helicopter???

All have beautiful landscapes. BTW all were real or edited?? Because some of them were really unbelievable. I mean there is no halipad and landing at stone of river or small wooden pool is really unbelievable.

I think you will find that all these are genuine, some pretty amazing shots showing the diversity of the helicopter that's for sure, Heliops are always very special, hey Ned don't want to post a copy of that great shot with the volcano that will be on the cover of your next mag for us photo junkies to drool over? That would be one of the best photos I have ever seen.

yes the helicopter is base with Jayrows in Darwin, however the pics were taken in Arnhem Land, by me...
