Interesting that it was not from CASA, and there is still no determination of the cause of the crash yet.

... he ran out of fuel didn't he..?

My recollection of the incident report was that it was a convoy of a few helicopters that all hot refueled themselves from drums of green avgas, and no fuel was found in the incident helicopter, dirt was shoved up its drain lines suggesting that it couldn't have drained after the crash, and residue of blue avgas was found in the tanks suggesting that they didn't refuel the incident machine at the drums at all...
Just waiting for dole time.
