Good outcome.
I do wonder how much information will be released on what and how it happened.
We need information so we can all learn. The Army Blackhawk accident a few years ago told us a lot. HUET became the next big thing because of what we found out as a result of that accident.

I read a thread on the dark side alluding to fuel starvation and ditching prior to running out of fuel completely. Was a pretty vague source, no idea how accurate that is.

I've just read that thread. There is all sorts of nonsense in it. I'd love to know where it all comes from and give them a good slap for talking absolute bollocks regarding an event they clearly know nothing about! Unfortunately, unlike the ATSB, internal Defence investigations will not often be released to the public - unless there is a BOI.

s#!t thing to loose an airframe, but it's just metal and magic. Incredible success to have the three crew escape unscathed and picked up extremely efficiently - the Seahawk is not known to float very well...
