Quoted in AU$, but almost impossible to live* in Australia, and get a “tax free” overseas income, isn’t it?

* or even own anything in Australia.

Although I am an Australian citizen, I have since relocated from Aus and I do not fit the criteria for being an Aus resident for tax purposes. There is tax paid in the country I'm currently residing in, but it is paid by my Employer.
I converted to AUD for convenience since BS is primarily used by Australians.

In reply to the questions, I don't know what anyone else pays, but its what i am currently paying. So there is at least one company in NZ doing it.

Not looking for any more staff at the moment, and not looking to replace the current staff with anyone that will come in and do a worse job for me at a cheaper rate. We pay what we think is good money to get great staff that will perform when we need them to...

Sadly, Kevin Rudd amended tax law during his tenure which meant that being an expat was no longer a way to get both professional experience and a financial edge for the sacrifice and risk taken (unless paid in USD and it continues to gain strength against the AUD).

Good on you for paying those wages.

Do you employ pilots? I thought it was just a family business??

I take it you pay a retainer and percentage of productive?!

Just to be clear - I wasn’t trying to “have a go” at you.
Just clarifying.
I understand, that post KRudd’s tax grab - some pilots manage to have a smaller “income”, perhaps with some undeclared “allowances”.

I think it’s disgraceful that someone spending the majority of the year, perhaps all of it, out of the country, pays a hefty amount of tax on their hard earned income, despite getting nothing in return, simply because they own a Vespa stored in their friends garage.

Labor = Tax to the max, anyone stupid enough to try and help themselves

Simple. Don't own a Vespa. Put it in your mates name.

In English it means to have legal rights to the sole use of a Vespa.
I’m sure your reply will confuse matters.
