Bluetooth headset adapter recommendations

Postby havick » Wed Aug 22 2018, 05:12

Looking for a Bluetooth adapter to plug inline with a DC headset. Want to be able to make calls and listen to music.

Any suggestions? David Clark headset with NATO plug.

Cheers

Couldn't agree more, works well with an LH350. Only issue if any (safety first) is when you are zoning out and some pr!ck makes a radio call right when the best bit of the song starts.
Great for ferry flights etc

Hmmm timely thread.

I will let you know how I get on with mine when it eventually arrives. Depending on where you are you are welcome to PM me and organise a test run if that helps.

How do you recharge it? Is there a USB port or something or do you have to keep buying batteries?

Another vote for Blu link here. Mine worked great on my helmet before I put a Lightspeed in it.

Even then I think I preferred the Blu link, it uses your mic even if your ICS isn't picking up your voice, whereas with the lightspeed my side of the conversation is broadcast through the machine.

It runs on AA batteries so either get some rechargeables or just keep buying them.

With the blulink, does it mute down music when other traffic are calling on the radio?

I also recommend the Blulink.

The Blulink will prioritise radio audio over the Bluetooth music and cellphone audio

Cheers. How long do they last before needing recharge or replace? Full day flying or more?
