Over dramatic in parts but a pretty big achievement all the same. Good on you Tom. I think I could spend ten years learning to be an actor and I’d still be crap.

He had one of his first lessons with me in 2002, and he did pretty well, but remember that he flies his own P-51 Mustang, so he already had a reasonable idea of aviation. Hovering, as we would expect, was a bit tricky. A very likeable guy for someone so famous.

The movie, "Top Gun", divorcing a true Australian beauty (Nicole Kidman), and Scientology cult put me off.

I concur arrrj, great job! That sort of budget is a different world to me, but at least he’s having a go and Top Gun will always keep him cool, however old it is.

PS. I love flying the H125. Such a great machine.

But Tom's is better...it is matt black !
