Wanted Any Alpha 200's and Alpha genuine ANR

Hello, are you still chasing Alpha 200 helmets? I have one wit NVG mounts etc for sale. It's a reconditioned, ex-CHC model. Large shell size.

word of advice from the been there, done that, you don't want the factory ANR

It is noisy when the aircraft isn't running, does nothing near the job of a bose headset (the ANR is about as good as early Dave clarks ANR) chews through batteries like a sober bum who just stole a fresh bottle of grog (3x9V)

On top of that the battery box is clunky, clumsy, fragile (in the latch) and heavy! the cord is barely long enough to put it in your pants pocket and if you put it on the helmet it feels like there is a brick on top of your lid

I bought mine brand new with the factory ANR, had to have it serviced twice, (crappy connector kept coming loose and shorting on the board) big $$ and big mistake

Thanks for the info just found out Gentex/HISL have discontinued the old ANR as launching a new system in August. But still after Alpha 200's as they are goi g to be stopped supported in July as well by Gentex.

I have a White Alpha Helmet with factory fit ANR

Dual visor, but NOT NVG.

Used, but good condition. (Excellent condition apart from scratches on the back of the helmet)

I believe it's a 200 (not sure how to confirm), as it's the one I had before I moved to the company-issued Alpha Eagle.

Skip ANR all together and get a CEP plug and the Helo CHAIS earphones with moulded ear plugs. No need for power andut cuts out more sound than ANR ever will.

Many thanks Jean but we have plenty stock of Alpha eagles it's the older Alpha 200's and 400's than we are after at the moment.

Hi Haywire we currently have no sizes XL or Medium Long at the moment.
At the moment HISL/Gentex are really struggling to meet there civilian orders globally some sizes are turning into a 6 month waiting time and some spare parts a lot longer.
This is due to the very large military orders for the likes of the UK and France example.
