As an instructor, I found the VFRG a great tool for students. Easily accessible online and full of the detail that can help refresh a PPL holder after long intervals between flights. Now however, our 'Safety' regulator as removed the online version and told us that it will cost $34.95 to own another document that will expire twice between flight reviews.
Come on CASA, enough already.

That is indeed ridicules. I too have found that guide very useful; for exactly the purpose you described. Shame.

Chill guys, if you cry wolf over nothing then when we really need casa to pay attention they will not notice over all the background bashing that they are receiving. It will be available post 30th of this month.

Has anyone managed to compile a whole PDF of the latest VFR Guide?
I'm looking for an offline electronic version for the iPad/laptop.
Cheers.
