Hi all,
We used to use normal plastic jerry cans with flexible nozzles to refuel the 44's when at events away from base. These were utter crap to use as they always spilt fuel when you tried to get the nozzle into the tank opening and on a few occasions the nozzle came off and ended up inside the tank.....not good.
The boss sourced a ripper of a 20 litre container that had a fixed nozzle with a spring loaded seal to prevent ant fuel escaping when it was inverted and lifted onto the tank opening. Fuel would only flow when the inverted container weight pressed the spring down.......brilliant!
Anyway, I want to purchase a couple of these to refuel jet skis but I'll be buggered if I can find them online anywhere.
I don't know the brand or where they were purchased from.
Anyone out there know of these and where one can buy them?
Stephan

Just had a search on Google for refueling jugs, plenty options there.

Fearless,
You could also try motorbike stores, a lot of guys in the dirtbike world use them for fast refueling.
Cheers

Also check these foldable 20l ones.

I have 4 of them that live under one back seat with still plenty of room. The best bit, is since they are flexible, their volume changes as you fill. It takes about 20 seconds to load 20l! Where as a normal jerry needs to fill with air as you pour out the fuel.
Regards
Matt

Re: Searching for a 20 litre refuelling container brand
Thanks for the replies guys.
The spring loaded stopper type are perfect for the Yamaha ski as the refuelling opening faces upwards like the 44. I got fuel over the ski and my hands today so the stopper type can Aaron found will do nicely. Other skis have the fuelling points that are horizontal so the conventional cans work fine on these machines.
Time to go shopping

How does a pilot afford to buy a jet ski?

Just a note with those quick fills Iv seen the evidence of them creating static maybe along with other contributing factors but I made a short bond line to bond aircraft first before refuelling.scepter cans are best cut yellow nozzel end shorter so it's wider drill rear air vent larger and poured/operated correctly you should not spill a drop!!
