Garmin Aera 660

Has anyone had any experience with the Aera 660? We're looking to replace our trusty 296s as they slowly stop working. Have tried the Aera 500 previously and absolutely hated it.

I have a aera 700 whicjph I assume you mean. I have had it for a few years and in my book is a excellent aviation gps. Touch screen, works like iPad almost unlike the 500 version. I would have to say the best user friendly unit out there.

I got used to the 500 . It's robust, good battery life and very reliable. Do y know if the 660 is the same size as the 500 as I was thinking of upgrading as well. Love the ozrunways but it has failed in the heat a few times so I use the 500 as backup.
