Touchdown Helicopters & Wollongong Heliport

Postby Touchdown Helicopters » Mon Mar 18 2019, 11:17

We're really excited to announce that Touchdown Helicopters are the new custodians of Wollongong Heliport!!

We'll be conducting helicopter scenic flights, corporate transfers and private charters amongst our other service offerings and all within a few minutes drive from the Wollongong CBD.

For helicopter operators planning to fly this way, feel free to plan a stopover with us. Our intentions are to have both Avgas and JetA1 available by prior arrangement. We'll even put the kettle on for a cuppa while you are here.

For those of you unsure of the location, the heliport is located on the Wollongong coastline at the southern end of Wollongong Golf Course (corner of Springhill and Port Kembla roads).

Check out our FB page for photo's of the facility and a map of its location.

Cheers
Chris

Impressive. Didn't know anybody was running a Blackork (though under N-reg) apart from Skeeny.

(Just need to fill in the Loren ipsum part of the FAQs)

Looks good. Was briefly in Wollongong 13 years ago, non flying though. I’d be keen to get some opinion on the hoops you had to jump through for UH60, both dealing with Americans and the export stuff. Also how it is to operate now re spares etc.
