Work Environment in PNG

Postby Canuck604 » Sat Dec 8 2018, 17:33

Hey all,

Thinking about seeking employment in PNG and am currently looking at Pacific and Hevilift. Wondering if anyone on here could provide some insight on the working environment either in PNG or those two specific companies? Any information would be helpful, from how employees are treated, schedule and pay, or information on how the aircraft are treated and maintained. Thanks in advance for any information.

Flyhuey,

It would be interesting to hear your opinion on flying in PNG. It's a shame you are passing on info via PM.

Magseal, if Huey made a post about PNG, or in fact anything, the armchair snipers would emerge to post their spite and jealousy and the thread deteriorates into a hate-fest.

So, unfortunately, it is better to do it via PM. You can ask for the same advice, I am sure he would gladly give it to you. He is a very experienced guy.

The point of being a sniper is to remain unseen.
The point of a troll is to be seen. Usually emerging from under a bridge, so for the purpose of this metaphor our beloved FlyHueys comments are bridges.

So you are admitting to being a troll? Not something to brag about.

100%
I'm a s**t stirrer of the largest magnitude but am open to getting as good as I give. It's a sport. Judging by some of the weak PM's I've received from old mate, if bragging is your pet peeve, then you're backing a strange horse.

All I remember of Port Moresby is that the facilities are basic and the nighttime frightening. And the police helicopter took a pounding from the bandits.

Bang"Card-carrying Troll"Equalsbad.
