Apart from a visa to get into to the Great US of A, what sort of hour/experience requirements are they asking for in the states?

Typically the only USA companies handing out E3 visas to Aussies are the firefighting guys with a few seasons under their belt on Bell 212/412, B205, K-max

OR, get yer missus (gotta be Aus citizen) to get E3 visa job stateside and the derived spouse status would be NO company ties fulltime work rights as dependant/secondary.

Just read the details and be creative. More ways to skin the cat.
