RotorTech 2018 Conference & ExhibitionVisitors to RotorTech 2018, Australia’s own helicopter industry exhibition and conference set for May 24 to 26 on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, will now attend the event’s industry and technical conferences at no charge thanks to increased levels of exhibitor and sponsorship support for the event.
The three-day RotorTech conference and exhibition will provide a vital interface between industry, regulators and government, including operations and safety presentations, manufacturers’ technical workshops, a gala industry awards dinner and an industry exhibition showcasing the products and services of more than 70 helicopter-related companies.
It is presented by Industry Defence and Security Australia Limited (IDSAL), an Australian not-for-profit Foundation dedicated to providing events to stimulate Australian industry development, in collaboration with the Australian Helicopter Industry Association (AHIA).
Industry Defence and Security Australia Limited and its corporate affiliate, Aerospace Australia Limited, are not-for- profit subsidiaries of Aerospace Maritime Defence and Security Foundation of Australia Limited. Forces International Land Defence Exposition and the CivSec International Civil Security Congress and Expo As a not-for-profit organisation, the goal of Aerospace Maritime Defence and Security Foundation of Australia Limited is to foster high-standard industry showcases and forums that are staged, wherever possible, at no cost to delegates, an ambition that is now achievable for the RotorTech 2018 Exhibition and Conference thanks to the strong support received from RotorTech’s sponsors and exhibitors.
“The increased level of sponsor and exhibitor support for RotorTech 2018 both underlines the event’s importance to the industry and enables the best possible conference and exhibition to be presented at no charge to delegates,” said the Foundation’s CEO Ian Honnery. “RotorTech 2018 provides a unique platform for communication between industry, manufacturers, regulators and government, contributing to safer helicopter operations through the exchange of topical information
and ideas. We are proud to bring RotorTech to life in collaboration with the AHIA.”
“RotorTech has come a long way since it started four years ago. Now, with the support of the Aerospace Maritime Defence and Security Foundation of Australia Limited, RotorTech 2018 will, under IDSAL’s management, be nearly double the size it was in 2016 at the last event.” said Australian Helicopter Industry Association President Peter Crook. “RotorTech this year will provide a great line-up of topical and highly relevant speakers as part of a world- class event that is rapidly
becoming the major promotional platform for the Australian helicopter industry.”
