Mustering Endorsement and opportunities

Postby landinggear » Sat Nov 15 2014, 01:02

Hey all, just wondering if anyone in the industry has any tips on where/who would be the best place/person to get a mustering endorsement. I'm a country born guy but unfortunately come from a part of the world where everyone uses planes or Gyros so have very little industry contact with heli muster's. I have my 100 hours pic (All commercially flown) and was just wondering what the best course of action would be from here? If anyone wants to pitch if for price, general information, if its a good choice or not, and people I should be contacting please feel free.
Cheers landing gear.

Air T&G Ballina do mustering endorsements and from all accounts are pretty good, with one of the owners a mustering pilot himself from memory.

I am pretty sure the minimum hours have increased too...

True. Not much in the way of cattle at Archerfield.

But Ken Amess does know a thing or two about chasing cows.

I did my Mustering "Approval" with a mustering operator who was current in the industry at the time & I think this is the best training available. I'm sure CASA could tell you which operators have CASA approval to conduct the training.
