Aviation Lawyer For AAT

Postby joni » Fri Apr 28 2017, 08:14

Evening All,

After some help to find a good aviation lawyer in S.E QLD or northern NSW.
I've had an endless battle with CASA over my medical and now looking to take the case to the AAT.

If anyone has been a in similar position and knows a good lawyer let me know.

Cheers

G'day Joni,
Sorry to hear about your troubles with your medical, I can imagine it would be very stressful for you. I personally don't know any aviation lawyers in QLD however if you do a quick google search "aviation lawyers Queensland" you should find plenty.

I'd be inclined to ring a few of them explain your case and see what they can offer you, then make a descision.

I'm sure other members may be able to give you a direct referral.

All the best :)

I was of the understanding that you don't need a legal representative for the AAT, you can present the facts yourself.

Might be doing that myself soon. AVMED are being s#!t.

I think you are correct Hand In Pants

I'll need all the help I can get going into battle against CASA/AVMED at the AAT.

Hopefully I can find a good lawyer at a responsible price who knows the in's & out's of the aviation medical system.

Try Paul Clough he is in Brissie I believe, you'll need to google his contact details.

He's an ex Army chopper pilot, ex airline pilot, ex barrister back to airlines and now an aviation lawyer.

Hopefully he can help.
