Aaron, Brazakkas, I believe was the company changing brand to Cape York or whichever. Reason domain's not used/active.

Nobody updated Broome Heli. Was it about year or so ago som ex-staff sued them for sub-award wages backpay etc? The ops, if any, may not be as usual.

Question...

Should a Newbie pilot who is looking for their first flying role or a ground crew position that may lead to a flying role advertise themselves on here? Especially if sending resume's to companies and either not getting a reply or just a thanks for the email.

I see a lot of experienced guys advertising but never a Newbie?

i have spoken to a few lately and they want to advertise but are unsure.

I would suggest not to start that sort of thing, but that's just my opinion. Then again, this place was setup to help people so can always see how it works by letting the masses decide.
The first job is a hard one to crack, sending emails probably won't get you over the line. You need to network and make the connection in person. If you're not, someone else is. But get connecting and make the effort to meet people and hopefully something pops up. There's isn't a lot of movement going on in the industry atm but things do change.

Good luck with it all.

Might be time for a redo/update and in a new thread.

At least three of the companies have closed down or have different requirements. :?: :?:

My 2c worth is someone starting in the industry needs to knock on doors. Get out there and get yourself known.

Good luck.

Hi Mods could this feed be deleted and started again?

2005 a lot has changed and there are many companies that no longer exist or their minimums have changed.

Australian Helicopter Company Directory

Help is on the way. Rotorcraft Asia-Pacific e-News has just released the Australian Helicopter Schools Directory as a free service to the Australian training industry. Listed are 40 flying schools, some have several remote bases. As there are around 270 AOC on CASA website, the listing of around 40 companies involved in training is a small step forward.

Post Rotortech, in the June e-News Report the finished directory of all helicopter operators will be offered at no cost. A huge task, but we need to promote ourselves as best as we can. Rotortech will allow more info (current) to go on the nearly finished owners listing.

All you have to do is subscribe to Rotorcraft Asia-Pacific e-News to receive the new directories for FISCAL 2021 /2022. A free service
