Helicopter Pilot - Sydney Airport

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Based at Sydney Airport, Blue Sky Helicopters is seeking a Fixed Term R44 Pilot. We operate a Bell 206 & a R44 and MD500E in a multi-rolled environment.

We are looking for a safety conscious / keen / reliable pilot to assist with our operations at Sydney Airport.

The position will be fixed term from May 2019 to March 2020. Initially part time from May-July, then full time from August- March. Remuneration will be based on experience and capability and will be at or above award wages.

Requirements:
- 500+ hours (non negotiable insurance minimum)
- must be R44 endorsed with a minimum 100 hours (PIC) on type
- current ASIC
- current Dangerous Goods
- current HUET or willing to obtain prior to commencing employment

Applicant must be well groomed, honest, reliable and extremely flexible as we are a dynamic company that has a wide range of work that can be generated at short notice. Knowledge of working in the Sydney control zone (or other busy controlled airspace) a distinct advantage. Experience in tourism beneficial, the ability to deal with the public (from all walks of life) a standard requirement.

Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents only. References will be required. Successful applicant will be required to conduct a safety check flight with a 3rd party check/training pilot prior to standard Chief Pilot check flight.
