S92/76 IFR Offshore Captain – Thailand

Thai Aviation Services Ltd. (TAS), a helicopter (Air Operator License) Company, has been servicing Offshore Oil & Gas Operations in the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea since 1974. Our operational bases are located at Nakhon Si Thammarat Airport, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and at the Utapao International Airport, Rayong Province.

We are now looking for the following position to join our company.
“Sikorsky S76D and S92A Captain” Location: Nakhon Sri Thammarat Base.

JOB SUMMARY
The Aircraft Commander is responsible for setting the principles and standards that he and his crew shall comply with when conducting their duties. All crew members are expected to perform their duties to the best of their knowledge and abilities and to display at all times the highest level of professionalism and behavior. The Company is a customer service based business and crews play a vital role in assuring both customer safety and welfare. It shall be noted that the crew’s duty of care in respect of passenger welfare is not discharged until all passengers have been passed on to another agency or have left the terminal (or landing site). The main duty of the crew is the execution of the flight assigned to them. In the performance of his duty, each of the crew members (under the responsibility of the Commander) has to promote, as much as possible, the safety of the flight as well as passenger comfort and economy, and adherence to the schedule. Simply put, the Commander is responsible for the safety and welfare of the passengers, crew and aircraft during a flight, and with this all employees remain responsible for their actions and should be prepared to be accountable for them. Pilot shall bear in mind that they are representatives of the Company. This responsibility implies a need to behave in a way that is courteous, well-disciplined and respectful of passengers, dispatchers, helideck crews and other crew members.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Responsible for the operation and safety of any aircraft commanded and the safety of all persons on board. For this purpose he/she will have final authority for the disposition of the aircraft during the time in which he is in command.
• Delegation of duties to other crew members will not remove his ultimate responsibility for the safe conduct of the flight.
• Comply with the company SOP, RFM, aeronautical regulations and requirements for helicopter operations and pilot standards of both the country of registration of the helicopter and the country where it is operating.
• Providing opportunities and encouragement for the co-pilot to increase his skill and knowledge so that the co-pilot may work towards advancement in rank.
• Comply with the company both ground and flight safety policies and participate with their campaigns.
• The observance of all rules in flight operation manuals, regulations and report to chief pilot if required.
• Ensure all operational procedures and checklists are complied with the operations manual.
• Participate with the company operational meetings (OE, safety meeting, pilot meeting, etc.) if required.

QUALIFICATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
• Type Rated and Qualified on Sikorsky S76 or S92 Helicopter aircraft commander with a valid ATPL (H) and Instrument Rating (IR) issued by an ICAO Member State.
• Preferably Thai Nationality but not limited to the others.
• Valid Class One Medical Certificate.
• ICAO English Proficiency Level 4 or above.
• S76D Captain: Total flight time (Multi-engine Helicopter) 2000 hours, 1000 hours as PIC and 100 hours PIC on Sikorsky S76C+, S76C++ or S76D.
• S92A Captain: Total flight time (Multi-engine Helicopter) 5000 hours, 3000 hours as PIC and 100 hours PIC on Sikorsky S92A
• Minimum 500 hours offshore experience
• Enable to work with diversity cultures.
