Next Job Advice

Hi All,

I'm sure there are going to be some interesting responses to this post, but I'm just looking for a little advice.

I'm currently employed and love my job but I'm looking for the next career step and would like to know if there is anything out there and if so what would be the best way to find the next job. Everyone said the first job was the hardest to find, i beg to differ it's the next one and is this the case for every next job ?

I did the road trip up the east coast before getting this job and I'm considering doing it again. However do not want to give notice on this job before I have something else to go to.
I've done the emailing, and always feel guilty every time I try and call potential employers as I feel like I am bothering them and taking up their time.

I currently have the following:
- 1320 Hrs (Total Time)
- 426 Hrs (Turbine)
- 894 Hrs (Piston)

Endorsements:
- Bell Jetranger B206
- Robinson R44
- H300
- Low Level

Courses:
- HUET
- Advanced First Aid

Additional:
- Current Class 1 Medical, DG, ASIC, Drivers Licence (Light rigid)

Current role involves everything within the business. e.g. pilot flight roster, banking, maintenance planning, customer service, fuel management, social media.

A background in IT, customer service and client relations.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It might be a silly question but what do you want to do long term?

UnObvious:
Currently in tourism and charter, during my time up here I have done maintenance flights, various remote landings, ferrying of machines interstate, filming and photo shoots.

Friendly Black Dog:
Would love to get into utility / fire / ems.
Currently in the process of studying the IREX theory, and once that is completed will be aiming for the ATPL exams.
