And the ads for EMS keep on flowing.....Biggest moving sector of the industry, interesting how often the Brisbane position comes up.
Are these rolls just a stepping stone for ex-military guys getting time up on the 139 then f-ing off to two and two offshore?
With a turn over this high should this not be a concern for CASA?.....silly question, CASA is ex-military.

Hevilift have been advertising for 139 pilots in PNG.
Maybe they have pulled guys from the EMS sector.

These are more like jobs for the older lads to retire into, minimal hours flown (but don't need to build time any more) and a fairly good work/life balance.
If somebody wanted it as a stepping stone, they will take a long time to get enough hours to be worth poaching.

The Brissie base actually has a high rate of effort (for an ems base) with busy nights.... if you like getting up in the wee hours, yeh a great retirement gig
Good base, good team, good roster, good aircraft.
