The email address in the advertisement is different to the one on the company website. I’d suggest calling Qwest direct to confirm the legitimacy of the position first before doing anything else.

It's email management in the north guys. No need to stress. Comm's do not work the same as in the main centers. Thanks for the publicity though.
I will try to reply to all who make contact.

No problems. Good luck to all who apply. Canada is a beautiful country to fly in and the people generally are extremely hospitable and helpful. If I was younger I’d return tomorrow at the drop of a hat.

To those who apply... Do some research!!

So many people head to Canada with the expectation they will be flying an Astar (squirrel) on day 1 with a long line attached saving the world.

Yes some guys do go straight into a bigger machine or run up the ladder so to speak. Other guys it may take a while. Don't be put off because you heard a 'friend of a friend Joe and bob got put into a 212 first season' etc etc.
Be prepared for some hard work and long long days remember northern Canada can see 24 hour daylight in the summer.

Some Northern towns are a little how we say... best not to say... If you are coming from a relaxing scenic position along the coast of Oz to a bug infested swamp of northern BC and bring the entire family along... be prepared for some let down. Its not all like the pictures and movies you see.
Everyone in Canada ends up in the north at some stage regardless of the chosen operator some time in their career.

Qwest do a wide variety of work in a great fleet with progression opportunities. BUT... it takes time to form trust to a newbie in the country. So put your head down, work hard, be prepared and Canada will provide you an experience like non other.
