License Conversion

Postby Andrevr11 » Tue Jun 6 2017, 06:55

Hi Guys,

I'm in the process of converting my commercial license from South Africa (only have 220 hours) and was wondering where the best place to start looking for work would be?

I have full time job (not in aviation) and from what I've read on forums, I'm not going to get close to my current salary while being a low time pilot. That being said, all the time and money invested in obtaining a commercial license, it feels like a huge waste to not try and get a few years/hours commercial flying under the belt.

I'm based just south of Perth but wouldn't be bothered having to move interstate.

Any advice about companies etc would be awesome.

Thanks

Try Corsaire or Heliwest at Jandakot for licence conversion.

I am currently converting my license through Heliwest thanks and they have some ideas on leads for work. Just thought I would check on here for best ways to get my foot in the door.

Thanks
