MCC for ATPL exams

Casa has now as of the 1st Sept introduced an MCC requirement prior to sitting the ATPL flight test. If you wish to get an ATPL in the future you will have to spend an extra $6500-$7000 with the only 2 certified 142 operators approved to do the course which include 5 hours flying in an fixed wing simulator!
Casa apologises for the lack of instructors, examiners and schools providing this course or exam but have refused numerous applications from instructors.
ATPL, it would seem, for the forsee able future will be the domain of fixed wing pilots and schools.
