I presume you mean musterers, as unless that thing can speak Chinese and/or stop people from grabbing all the wrong stuff while flying around, I think we'll be right for a while!
Great vid.

One place they are already hurting the Helicopter industry is aerial photography. We can now get the shots we need a lot cheaper. For the cost of a hour of flight time I can buy a pretty good platform with gyro stabilized mounts.

I guess that depends on whether you have an operating certificate or not?
If you don't, you'll have to allow for the 18k fine.
Oh, and if you hit a person it will probably cost you your house as you can't get insurance without an OC.

There are companies with the O/C needed and hiring them is not that expensive.
Yes there are cowboys out there, but there are also well set up companies with the skills to get results.

Thats impressive!
Learn from the mistakes of others. You won't live long enough to make all of them yourself.

There are good operators with OCs out there but by your original post, you gave the impression you could just 'buy' your own drone?
Do you have your own drone?

Not yet but will be getting one soon.
Just waiting to see what CASA does. They were looking at a new classing system for UAVs.

Depends on a lot of factors. Including the platform you use and the amount of weight you try to lift. But generally you get from 5 to 15 minutes.
