Hi Ned,
Arrived in the post today, thank you.
My fav would be the silver 205 over the snow, followed by your photo of the 500E on a spray run.
Thanks again and hope that you have a great 2010.

Good to see the replies and which images you like.

The one thing I enjoy about doing the calendar give away is this - no matter how much we bitch and moan and complain about this industry and some of the people in it, there are times when we can look at images such as these and just realise what a bloody great industry we are privileged to be a part of. It takes all of us to places we otherwise would never get to see, both in a good and bad way.

So sit back and enjoy the pics and appreciate that no matter what, we are part of a pretty special industry.

Calendar just arrived, thanks for that Ned. My favourite shot is the EC130 in Southern France. It's a great shot with a nice looking machine in it. :D

One of my most memorable flights was just a circuit I did while doing another blokes instructor rating. He mentioned that circuits would be the most boring part of training someone. I told him that he could "make them more intersting". He was silly enough to ask how. I then got clearence from the BK tower to do a circuit in the opposite direction to traffic, and proceeded to fly it backwards (and by that I mean in reverse). He and the tower were very quiet for the 4 or so minutes it took, and the tower made no futher comment, but when the other bloke asked to do the same thing, tower said no, one idiot stunt a day was enough.
I think they had a bit of a laugh about it but it shows you can do almost anything if you ask nicely.................
Hand in Pants, I'm thinking, my god, that IS huge!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the Calender Heli-Ops, love the R22 pic with the sunset, fantastic shot, and the EC130 over the lake is breathtaking. Good work and thanks again for the freebie.

A good idea needs landing gear as well as wings to get off the ground.

Last call for anyone else who wants to post their most memorable moment in a helo and get a 2010 calendar.

It's got to be the first solo, sitting there on my own thinking........ what if something goes wrong....what's that noise....downwind checks and it's all over. This was closely followed by passing the CPL Flight test, I could not get the grin off my face until I got knocked back for all the jobs I rang about! The next big moment for me was flogging round the West Mac Donnell Ranges in a Bell 47, it was the same flights every day but I loved just about every minute of it. I still do.

I hope this in enough to get me a calendar!

Recieved mine, thanks a lot. The 205 over B.C. would have to be the strongest image.

Cheers

Still a student so don't have as much to call on as most of you pilots, but I want one of those calenders. I would have to say my most memorable heli experiences would have to be the first few solo nav's. Like the rush I get when you clear the edge of the escarpment at Wollongong and the floor just drops away, pretty cool ! First time over the Harbour Bridge and out to the Heads and down the coastline, very awesome ! and of course my first attempt at an auto and maybe dropping the collective a little bit too quickly!! oops!!

Been away on holiday so not sure when mine arrived but a great little present to come home to.

Thanks very much Ned.

Fav pic? Have to be the 205 over the snow but hey, they're all great shots.
