The AFT ATPL book for Aircraft systems has a chapter on basic gas turbine, you can buy them individually or your training provider should supply a copy. When i did my quiz it seemed most of the questions were pointing to that book, as far as the terminology that was used. There is also a video series on YouTube based on the UK ATPL syllabus that is quite good and contains diagrams etc. Easy enough to find.
Just waiting for dole time.

This is for a pilot we have on board who we'll be getting into 206, at this stage not looking at going through a school.

There is a book in the apple store called "Basic Turbine Knowledge" by waypoints aviation. It's from the kiwi syllabus but its quite thorough and provides an easy to understand layout.

Another is Flying the Bell 206 Jetrangber by John Toal also available from Amazon.

Both are good.
