Hi all.
On Tuesday I had a heap of items stolen from my car. They gained access by breaking into the garage then my car and finding a jackpot in my boot.
BoseA20 headset (Heli plug)
Kneeboard
MyGo Flight Pro suction holder
X-Naut ipad cooler
Gallet helmet
ipad mini
also, my bl&^dy FCL and medical clearance. CASA just added to my pi$$ed off mindset by charging me $25 to reprint a paper licence instead of just sending via PDF!
Likelihood of finding I know is slim to none as there's no markings etc to make them stand out. No serials recorded and iPad mini was turned off and didn't have find my iPad on.
What may standout is my helmet bag. This is the only pic I can find of it. Its navy in colour with heli patches I had collected from around the world on both sides. Mainly police airwing and a few Aus military heli patches. Should anyone see this on a forum somewhere please PM me.
Info sent to every pawn shop i can find with an email!
Schools advised and constantly checking FM marketplace, gumtree.
Hoping my insurance company at least meet me halfway.

Low life scum have ripped you off.
So sorry For your losses.
The local pawn shops, pubs and Police are more than likely to be the only ones to help you.
Keep in mind the black market is very tight..
You seem to have covered all the possible angles.
Best of luck!

Will your car or house contents insurance cover any of it?
Even if it does it’s small consolation for the lost time getting all the stuff again

Don't forget to check Ebay . . .
Might be worth sending an email to every Australian Helicopter Operator, too, just in case they see someone wearing/using your kit.
Unlikely to be a random break-in, especially if someone knew your car was in the hangar and your gear in the boot. How did the thief access the boot of your car, if it was locked?
Hopefully, the rest of 2019 will be happier.
