How rough was your last fixed-wing ride to work?

Not sure many of us could complain about a rough landing after watching a few of these approaches...

I bet the ground would be littered with kleenex from all the over excited plane spotters......and having the radio tuned into ATC would tip them over the edge.

I landed in Darwin on qantas and hit the Tarmac hard enough to deploy a few oxygen masks fully down. The capt was on intercom before reverse thrust was even deployed with this gem..

Arrh... Sorry about that folks, we just had to avoid a bird late final...

Bullsh@t ! I had a window seat and the poor bloke flared a little early and floated down the runway at about 15 feet until it stalled then just dropped like a rock! "BANG" lol

Looks like a normal day flying into Wellington for us... some great footage.

I've got some cracker footage I took from the flight deck showing a windshear go around on short finals.

Almost spilt my coffee.

I once said to a QF captain,

Were we shot down or just a heavy landing? He looked at the 1st officer and turned and said he had control....

Is this the same flight you smeared lipstick over your face on short finals? Tsk tsk...make-up touch ups at the gate JT!

Hope you're well mate.

Amazing how much the wings flex in the lumps and bumps.

And the stresses on the tyres as they go sideways!
