They suggest a ballistic chute, in the case of multiple engine failures. (It has 4. A good way of building Multi engine time?)

I dont see why it would not fit into the experimental category if you bought it as a kit, of course it would need the basic flight instruments mounted somewhere
but as much as I would like to swing around the helicopter pilots lounge and say 'so how many quad engine hours have you got' I think I will pass

No. Fixed pitch blades.
Power changes through RPM. Direction by tilting the disk.
