YMIA visitors

Postby CYHeli » Thu Oct 16 2008, 01:21

We have many aircraft come through Mildura, only because there's fuel handy here.
Recently VH-VGG, the Bell430 from Griffin Helicopters (Perth) stopped overnight.
As a female friend described it; "Sex with blades"

This way sir...

would you like the blinds up,

or down? All windows have blinds sir.

You can sit and enjoy,
Image

or listen to some music / DVD?
And yes the panel between the drivers & pax slides up for privacy, just any normal limo!

Plenty leg room,

The drivers are not left out,

See ya.

"Griffin" as in Griffin Helicopters Perth?

Any idea what it's to be used for? It looks like a corporate machine now, but a quick change of interior and who knows....?

Did you happen to catch the callsign?

The amount of legroom in there is impressive. I'd hate to imagine the cost per hour though.

The original was a '222.
That's like comparing the original Blues Brothers with BB2000. Oc:=
It just doesn't work!

Geeze, you could have at least tried to get it lined up on the centreline before taking a photo of finals... I guess you changed your mind about all that Cat A stuff and decided on a non standard heli approach to that big white hangar huh?
