Bladeslapper Design Competition

Postby helothere » Sun Apr 10 2011, 05:03

There seems to be some interest in BS hats and shirts, which is great. I would like submissions or ideas toward a design for both. The winner, apart from the exhalted adoration of the BS community, will receive a hat, a shirt, a sticker and some CEP eartips, or sunnies if they are back in stock by then, or a credit in the shop to the same value.

Attach ideas below, the winner will be the most popular as judged by the community (as long as I approve  ).

Good luck!

Idea the first is below, with the official BS logo. The design will default to something like this if nothing better comes up.

A nice dress shirt with bladeslapper for when door knocking on hangar doors might help get a job?? Maybe haha
Or a talking point with the operator whilst there talking :)

Well, if we are going for dress shirts, then I vote for casual tracksuits with the logo for lounging around hangers. Velour preferably!

I think this would go nicely with the velour tracksuits.

Hey guys i for one am quiet excited about the prospect of bladeslapper shirts and hats! (also the proud owner of heliman mug/clock/and some stickers) Unfortunately i am all but useless when it comes to using photoshop. So hope someone can put my idea into a draft at least to see what it looks like! I would like to see the animated picture with all the helimen standing with a chopper hovering above with say holliwood (god forbid i said that) or one of the mods hanging out the door slinging CYheli's this sign has sharp edges with a few of the boys hanging on the sling line and out the door of the chopper. Sort of like the ettamogah pub thing! Sorry helothere!! but the red hats need more work! Luv this site!!
cheers

All sounds good. But don't forget to make some HUGE hat sizes to fit some of the big heads on this forum.

HELiPAD - Love it. Gets my vote.
I also like the hats right at the start. Simple, but effective.

Nice work HELiPAD
May I make a suggestion, perhaps the one on the left needs those tabs on the shoulder so the offshore boys can insert their epaulets....

Do we have an end date for the comp?? Igor didnt create the helicopter over night, a master piece of this scale also requires time.

"Send c/- Bristows/CHC"

What happened NZHelo, wife run off with offshore pilot or did your resume get the knock-back?

P1

PS It's "epaulettes", but don't worry too much, it looks like you won't have wear them!

What happened NZHelo, wife run off with offshore pilot or did your resume get the knock-back? No sorry champ she prefers pilots that actually do the flying as opposed to you Top Gun automated fly boys. If I wanted to fly a bus, I would be in the airlines.

I think we might need a shirt with a specially cut large neck hole to fit a certain kiwi's head through it.
