Jayrow Aircrewman - Rockhampton Position

A position has become vacant with Jayrow Helicopters for an experienced Aircrewman/Rescue Crewman. This role is full time and is based in Rockhampton, Qld, where Jayrow Helicopters provides the aircraft (S76) and crew for the Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service.

The position is a dual role, that of Aircrewman as well as Rescue Crewman/Swimmer (Down The Wire Man), and a physical fitness standard is required.

Minimum Requirements for the position are:

Minimum 500 hours Rotary Wing Aircrewman experience
29.11 Winch Endorsement
CASA Class 2 Medical
CRM/DG/HUET
Experience with S76 and/or NVG's is highly desirable.

Fitness standard is:

3.0km Run in under 15 min
8 Chin Ups
40 Push Ups
50 Situps
700m swim in under 20 minutes (clean skin)
300m swim in under 12 minutes (in rescue swimmer gear)
