Hi all, does anyone know of a training school at Bankstown that uses a Schweizer 300?? I know of at least 2 in Camden but if I can save the 70min drive each way and train at Bankstown that would be my preferred option.
Thanks in advance
John

Re: Schweizer 300 training at Bankstown
Hi john,
I am confident that HTT and Bankstown helicopters do not use the 300 but only the 22 and 44 for primary training.
We have two 300s at our school in Camden and a few 44s and 22s, the 300 is a great aircraft and feels a lot different to the 22.
Regards,
Nathan

HTT nor Bankstown heli has 300s, i used to fly at both establishments over the years and neither have them or want them!
The last time billy had a 300 at BK heli was about 96
As for Camden, i know there are a couple of enstroms down there. dont get confused...... he he.
Speak to Peter holstien at Aerowasp, he will tell you whats based down there and be able to possibly help you out.

Thanks for the replies, I have been in touch with Peter in the last couple of days and he indeed does have 2 x 300's. Nothing against Peter....but I thought I'd check out my Bankstown options before committing to a round trip of just over 2 hrs per day to rack up some hours.
I would dearly love to learn in a Bell 47 but Bankstown doesn't have any there anymore either.

You could get your wish, I believe that a 47 was on its way to Camden. Talk to Peter at Aerowasp again.
Round up the usual suspects
