ATPL Flight Planning exam

Postby Turning base » Tue Sep 3 2019, 09:05

G'day slappers,
Anybody got any recent experience with this exam? Ie, number and type of questions, which study material you used etc. Is weather presented in the form of GPWT charts or given in the question?
Thanks in Advance

Hey, sorry I cannot answer your questions. But give AFT a call on Sunshine Coast and ask for Brett.
He is very helpful and should be able to square up anything you need.
Good luck.

Along the same lines, anyone know if you still actually need ERC highs for the nav exam. Years since I did it before and seem to remember that they weren’t needed but don’t want to get caught short.

Cheers

ET, having suffered through this exam twice I can say there were no questions requiring the ERC highs. However, you never know what CASA could do..... for the sake of $30 i'd take them. Running out of time is the biggest issue with this one.
