CPL-H Questions about issue dates of books

Postby jimiemick » Sun Sep 23 2018, 06:32

Good evening Bladeslappers,
I purchased my own CAR/CAO/CASR books at the end of last year.
I was unable to sit my Law and Met exams when I had originally planned.

Question 1: Should i purchase new ones again or will the ones I have be ok?

Question 2: My ERC/WAC/VTC charts are all from 2014, should I buy new ones of these also? ( doing my expired nav exam on the 2nd of October)

Thanks

I have the most recent sets and an older set than yours and have cross checked all relevant exam clauses between new and old publications and none of the exam content has been changed that you need to be concerned about.

Yours will be perfectly fine for the exam.

With the maps, they might cause an issue with magentic variation maybe but could be wrong as I havnt checked. Worst case they are not much anyway. I hardly had to use my charts in my Nav exam.

Good luck!
