Fixed Wing Conversion

Postby Flyoneday » Tue Aug 21 2018, 03:06

Hi All,
After a few years flying helis and the career outlook not looking too promising, i'm thinking of converting over to fixed wing. I know under the previous regs there was an exemption that required only 60 hours fixed wing time before you could sit your CPL(A) test. Does anyone know if this exemption still exists under Part 61? I can't find it anywhere and after talking to CLARC they couldn't find it either!
Has anyone done this conversion recently? What was it like and who did you train with?
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Niko
